
Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak and uncertainty, health and safety is the top priotity of everyone. I mean who’s not? and If you’re not, there is a big chance to have a covid. It’s much better to keep healthy during pandemic, as much as you are healthy , your family, your co worker, your neighbor will be healthy too.
Furthermore the new coronavirus, called SARS-CoV-2, has caused more than 168,000 infections globally, leading to the health condition COVID-19. According to The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recognised that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is airborne and can be transmitted via respiratory fluids, which are fine droplets released during respiration.
When the viruses is spreading across the world, the normal things that we do before, is not normal now. But it’s just a matter of time, we can adjust even it’s hard. Since the virus was upgrading and spread so easily, it means we need to be more healthy. And if you want to be healthy, you should follow this steps.
TIPS#1
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for atleast 20 seconds.
Start to sing happy birthday while washing hands, It’s very important and if you go out, much better if you take a bath.

Eat healthy foods like vegetables and fruits with well-balanced diet. Avoid unhealthy foods including junk food, frozen food, fast or instant food etc. Have discipline and concious about the food that you eat, to gain a lot of benefits not desease.
Here some benefits of eating healthy foods:
Heart health.
Reduced cancer risk.
Better mood.
Gut health.
Memory.
Weight loss.
Diabetes.
Bones and teeth.
Getting a good night’s sleep.
TIPS#3
Clean and disinfect all things that may have been contaminated.

As much as possible avoid contact with sick people or not. Do not talk or touch with someone else if not necessary because COVID-19 is transmitted from person to person via droplets, contact, and fomites. It is transmitted when one individual talks, sneezes, or coughs producing ‘droplets’ of saliva containing the COVID-19 virus.

Maintain social distancing even in our house especially when in public make sure to distance atleast 6 feet apart. Don’t go to crowded places.

Exercise regularly even after work and schoolwork hours. It helps to strengthen our body,mind and to avoid stress.
There are some basic or simple exercise that you can try at home
Walk up and down the stairs
Do some stretching
Dance to music just like zumba
Play active video games
Try exercise classes online, and find more ideas and resources online.

Don’t forget to wear mask and faceshield properly in public. Protect yourself and others.

Avoid touching your face and other things, cover your coughs/sneezes with tissue and dispose because the virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. Use your elbow not your hands.

Use sanitizer and pick a hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Coat your palms and fingers.
Rub in thoroughly for 20 seconds. Remember that we still need to wash hands even you sanitize it.

Next is to keep hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses a day, to regulate body temperature, keep joints lubricated, prevent infections, deliver nutrients to cells, and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.

Sleep regulary, atleast 7-8 hours a day to improve immune function and makes you healthy. Getting enough sleep isn’t only about total hours of sleep. It’s also important to get good quality sleep on a regular schedule so you feel rested when you wake up.

Take vitamins everyday to boasts Immune system to fight off illness.
There are 3 vitamins that are best to strengthen immunity which is

Prefer to buy anything like foods and any items online. It’s safe than to shop in a physical store. Just clean or sanitize the package and keep distance with delivery man to avoid contact.

If you have no work or unimportant things to do. The best thing to do is to stay at home. Think about your family, if you want them to be safe, it depends on you.

If you are working at home, keep yourself active. Do exercise, bonding with family.
Try indoor games like drawing, pencil and paper games, card games, board games, dominoes and many more.

If you are student, stay at home. Do a household chores, schoolwork, just keep yourself busy to avoid boredom. Communicate with your friends through social media if you miss them and also bond with your family.

If you are working outside from home, you should be more careful because you always have a contact. After your work, wash your hands first and take a bath immediately.

The next is, to take care of your mental health and emotional health, a lot of people really affect their mental health and emotional health because of the pandemic. That can cause anxiety,depression,eating disorder etc. Effectively managing both our mental health and emotional health can help us to eliminate stress, fear, anxiety, anger, depression, and worry.
Based on my experience I have my very own steps or pratices on how to take care of our mental health.
-Try to meditate.
-Always think positive and sorround yourself with positivity.
-Exercise regulary, it can change your mood.
-Eat healthy foods and keep hydrated
-Have a quality time for your family, friends and also to yourself.
-Talk about your feelings, be open to your family and friends.
-Take a break, give yourself time to mourn,grieve,rest and heal.
-Accept and love yourself, learn to forgive and forget.
-Listen to the music that relaxing
-Always start your day with a smile in your face.
-My highly recommend is to attend on church but for now in virtual mass, just talk to God wholeheartedly. And read and meditate the word of God.

Have self-discipline, everyone should have self-discipline it’s really important in times of this. So that everyone will follow the health protocols without any complaints. It must maintain extraordinary discipline to defeat virus.

If there’s available vaccine, you should buy it immediately and get vaccinated. In some countries the vaccine if free so be patient.
But it has possible side effects of a vaccine include pain, redness, itchiness or swelling at the injection site (which may last a few hours); fever; feeling of weakness or fatigue; headache; dizziness; diarrhea; or nausea. Consult the nearest healthcare professional if you experience any of these.
